Heaven sent – I’m convinced YOU must be.
God gave you exclusive eyes just to see deep into me.
Deep into the depths of my making.
For my inner being and my core, you provide an awakening.
All the good, all the bad, all that makes me...ME.
Never has anyone paid such close attention.
Swept me off my feet, eliminated all tension.
You cared enough to tear down the walls.
Inspired me to give you nothing less than my all.
Funny part is...I don’t care about anything else but me and you.
Just us TWO. WE. ME. YOU.
No one else...nothing else...matters.

But then the real 'Slim Shady' showed his face.
I’m still trying to figure out how we’ve come to this place.
How could someone who lifted me so high, make me feel so low?
I shared parts of me that usually take more time to show.
It was your idea to open me up.
Poured myself into you, and filled your cup.
If your intentions were never to experience real love with me,
Why couldn’t you just have simply let me be?
Was I something to pass the time?
Another statistic from your timeline?
Now I live with tattooed memories.
Memories that I still see so vividly.
