"Cali Kids"

The city of L.A. is where I stay
and the skies are never grey
just got some crazy temps
with an always perfect surf
and people out cruising along Pac Coast Highway
feeling the cool ocean breeze
as you let the top down on that brand new beamer
cause Cali is where the sun is always shining
and the ocean glistens as the sun sets
but there's some deep dark secrets that you got to know, too
cause when the sun isn't shining
the wolves come out
and on those triple-digit days
you can see kids outside in the midday sliding on their slip n' slides
just having the time of their lives
with their parents close by
keeping a close eye
cause nowadays you got child predators preying on young kids
they constantly going in and out of jail
and for that I just want to scratch out their eyelids when I hear about them getting out of the skids
now can someone tell me why they being released?
they deserve life sentences or to be in the Middle East for what they do
or drowned in the bayou
cause they're hopeless, they can never be fixed or working-class honest citizens
their brains work like a murders', the thought will always be there
and so will the many acres
with the many stories to tell
cause of the bodies they may hold
